Sindhi Sarangi is a stringed instrument made of wood. This folk instrument is found in Rajasthan. Sindhi Sarangi is said to be one of the rarest known folk string instruments of Rajasthan and is rare to find it now-a-days. This instrument closely resembles the KALAWATI sarangi. The upper ends of the strings are tied up to the pegs and lower ends to the hook below. It is played with a bow. Small bells (gungroos) are attached to the bow to produce rhythmic jingle along the notes. The instrument itself is made by these tribal people. These tribal people of Rajasthan province of India are called Langas and Manganiyaars
